plant 5–7 in. high; stem rather slender, glabrous; leaves cauline, 2 or 3, amplexicaul, broadly cordate, subacute or apiculate, 3/4–1 1/2 in. long, 1/2–1 in. broad, with rather broad basal lobes; scapes 5–7 in. high; spikes short and lax, 2–5-flowered; bracts leaf-like in shape and texture, 4–10 lin. long; pedicels 3–5 lin. long; flowers very small, pink and green; dorsal sepal galeate, about 1 1/2 lin. long, with a triangular acuminate deflexed limb and a broadly saccate galea; lateral sepals spreading, obliquely ovate-oblong, acuminate, 1 1/2 lin. long, with a short broadly conical obtuse sac above the middle; petals cohering with the margin of the dorsal sepal, obliquely falcate-ovate, acute, 1 1/2 lin. long; lip narrowly unguiculate; limb reflexed, with 2 short diverging lobes; appendage broadly oblong, obtuse, papillose, longer than the limb; column short; rostellum broadly rounded, obtuse, concave; arms cartilaginous, spathulate-oblong, obtuse, twisted, over 1/2 lin. long. null
