Information
plant over 1 ft. high; stem moderately slender; leaves sheath-like, suberect, oblong-linear, subobtuse, 1–1 1/2 in. long; scapes over 1 ft. high, with a few lanceolate subacute sheaths above; spikes about 3 in. high, lax; bracts ovate-anceolate, acuminate; pedicels 6–8 lin. long; flowers medium-sized, lilac and greenish-white, 3/4–1 in. long; dorsal sepal galeate, 4 lin. long, with a triangular subacute deflexed limb and a rounded obtuse galea; lateral sepals spreading, ovate-lanceolate, acuminate, 4 lin. long, with an oblong obtuse sac about the middle; petals falcate-lanceolate, acute, 4 lin. long, outer margin undulate; lip broadly unguiculate; limb deflexed, triangular-lanceolate, subacute, cucullate, about 3 lin. long; appendage triangular-lanceolate, subacute, somewhat curved, cucullate, shorter than the limb; column short; rostellum ovate, subobtuse, reflexed at the margin, rather large; arms cartilaginous, falcate-oblong, obtuse, 2 lin. long. null
