Information
plant 4–9 in. high; stem rather slender; leaves subradical, 3–5, erect or suberect, lanceolate or spathulate-lanceolate, acute or shortly acuminate, 1–2 1/2 in. long; scapes 4–9 in. long, with a few lanceolate acuminate sheaths above; spikes cylindrical, 1 1/2–4 in. long, usually lax; bracts linear-lanceolate, acute, 1/4– 3/4 in. long; pedicels 4–5 lin. long; flowers small, pale yellow, with a pair of brown eye-like spots on the side of the dorsal sepal; dorsal sepal galeate, broadly ovate, acute or apiculate, subcrenulate, about 3 lin. long; spur broadly conical at the base, much constricted above the middle, obovate and truncate at the apex, rather shorter than the limb; lateral sepals oblique, narrowly ovate, acute, about 3 lin. long; petals falcate-linear from a broad base, acuminate, with a rounded subcrenulate basal lobe in front; lip linear, acute, 2 1/2 lin. long; column short; anther horizontal; rostellum erect, emarginate; stigma pulvinate. null
