Information
Terrestrial herb perennating by testicular tubers.Plants 20–45 cm tall.Cauline leaves imbricate, all subequal in size, sheathing at the base; blades free, semi-erect, (2.5)6–8 cm long, narrowly elliptic to lanceolate, acute.Inflorescence subimbricate, 6–12(18) cm long, 10–20(40)-flowered.Floral bracts green, as long as or longer than the ovaries, acute to acuminate.Flowers pale mauve with darker spots.Dorsal sepal elliptic, acute; galea 5.5–6.5 mm long, 3 mm wide and c. 2 mm deep.Spur 4–6 mm long, cylindric-conical, horizontal at the point of origin and usually sharply decurved about halfway down its length.Lateral sepals 4–5.5 mm long, oblong, oblique, sub-acute to rounded, shortly apiculate.Petals 2.8–4 mm long, obovate, falcate.Lip 3.5–4.5 mm long, elliptic, upper surface convex.Rostellum erect.Anther 1.5 mm long.Stigma horizontal, almost square.Ovary c. 1 cm long.
