Notes
This species has been much confused with the preceding. Addenda : Swartz included two plants under his Disa patens, viz. Serapias patens, Thunb., and Orchis filicornis, Linn., but the former is identical with Ophrys patens, Linn., on which Disa tenuifolia, Sw., was based. This original mistake led to others, which were rectified in the synonymy of Penthea patens and P. filicornis.
