nearly glabrate except the calyx; branches 5–7 in. long, slender; leaves up to 3/4 by 1/4 in., narrowed at either end, tip obtuse; petiole up to 1/8 in. long; spikelets in clusters of 3–5, axillary and on axillary peduncles 1/4 in. long; lower bract 1/3 by 1/10– 1/8 in., broadly lanceolate, hardly acute; bracteoles 1/5 in. long, linear-lanceolate; sepals less than 1/6 in. long, linear, minutely hairy; corolla 1/2 in. long; capsule 1/4 in. long. null
