bulb ovoid, under 3/4 in. diam.; leaves linear, flaccid, above a foot long; peduncle slender, 1/2–1 ft. long; flowers 6–8 in an umbel; pedicels 1/4–1 in. long; spathe-valves lanceolate, 1–1 1/2 in. long; perianth bright red, 1–1 1/4 in. long; tube slightly curved, slender at the base, 1/6 in. diam. at throat; segments broad oblong, 1/6 in. long. null
