bulb ovoid; leaves about 3, contemporary with the flowers, linear, 9–10 in. long, 1/4 in. broad; scape slender, terete, as long as the leaves; umbel 6–8-flowered; pedicels 1/2– 3/4 in. long; spathe-valves lanceolate, an inch long; perianth pale red, under an inch long, with a funnel-shaped tube 1/6 in. diam. at the throat, a little longer than the oblong-lanceolate segments; stamens as long as the segments; anthers oblong, 1/12 in. long. null

Notes
Described from a plant flowered in July, 1886, by Mr. J. H. Tillett, of Sprowston, near Norwich, who introduced it from Pondoland.
