Information
Stem, basal bulb, and leaves, exactly as in depauperated examples of C. bulbosus. Inflorescence not at all umbel-like, a simple narrow-oblong spike of 6 spikelets; bracts hardly any. Spikelets 1/4 by 1/16 in., 3–5-flowered, chestnut-red; otherwise as C. bulbosus .
