Information
Tree 6–20 m. high; branchlets puberulous, glabrescent. Leaves: stipules very caducous; petiole 3–5 mm. long, puberulous; lamina oblong-lanceolate, elliptic, or oblanceolate, 3–14 cm. long, 1–4(–5.5) cm. wide, obtusely subacuminate at apex, obtuse to rounded at base. Axis of raceme very short or scarcely developed; pedicels glabrous, ± 8–15 mm. long. Flowers whitish-pink. Sepals 6–7 mm. long. Petals 9–11 mm. long, oblanceolate. Pods ± semicircular (upper suture straight, lower curved), 4.2–5 cm. long, 2.7–3.4 cm. wide, brown. Seeds ± 3–3.7 cm. long, 2–2.5 cm. wide, and 0.7–0.9 cm. thick.
