Agri-horticulture: veterinary medicine
Description
An unspecified Cymbopogon is used by herdsmen in Niger as a medicine for their cattle. It is pounded together with tobacco and kaolin and is administered by smoke fumigation, in ointment or by draught before the illness becomes serious (1).
