Information
Hairy. Stems 4–8 in. long, slender, erect from a bulb 3/4 in. in diam. Leaves up to 3 by 1/12 in., linear. Heads 1/2– 2/3 in. long, of 1 or few cymes, very oblique; the lower bract often 1 in. long, linear from an oblique lanceolate base. Flowers small, the bracts crowded in 2 rows, shaggy.
