Notes
VARIATION. The gradation in leaf-form, from the simple palmately lobed juvenile leaves to the digitately compound leaves with petiolulate leaflets of mature branches, can be confusing. This variation in juvenile and mature foliage has not so far been observed in var. tomentosa, but the possibility of its occurrence should not be overlooked.
