Information
Cinereous-hairy trailing herb; stems densely covered with short rather fine subappressed forward-pointing scabrid hairs; leaves cinereous, shortly and densely scabrid-hairy, 10–48 mm. long, 10–55 mm. broad. Fruit on a 10–55 mm. long stalk, shortly ellipsoid to subglobose, 25–45 mm. long, 18–33 mm. across, with the aculei 0.5–5 mm. long, glabrous or sometimes densely and finely grey-hairy between the aculei, longitudinally striped bright and dark green, clear yellow when ripe.
