Notes
Michelmore 696, from Tanganyika, Ufipa District, above Kasanga (EA, K), has pubescent stems, 4–5 pairs of leaflets similar to those of var. fruticosum in size and indumentum, and sparsely puberulous inflorescence-axes. In fact it is intermediate between the two varieties.
