Information
Herb, 15–100 cm tall; branches ± sparsely appressed puberulous. Leaflets 3, mostly linear to narrowly elliptic-oblong, mostly 10–45 x 3–8 mm, appressed puberulous beneath, sometimes also above; petioles mostly shorter than the leaflets. Racemes 1–8 cm long with flowers crowded on a relatively long peduncle. Calyx becoming basally truncate and deflexed against the pedicel, 2.5–3 mm long, appressed puberulous. Standard yellow with purplish veins; keel strongly rounded, 3.5–4 mm long, with a sharp incurved beak. Pod 10–15 x 4–5 mm, appressed puberulous, 12–18-seeded.
