Information
Perennial herb, woody at the base, or clump-forming shrub up to 60 cm high; branchlets pubescent with ± golden spreading hairs. Leaf-blades elliptic to ovate, 6–25 x 3–18 mm, obtuse and mucronulate at the apex, rounded at the base, pubescent with ± spreading hairs; petiole 1–1.5 mm long. Flowers in axillary 1–3-flowered cymes; bracteoles linear to linear-lanceolate, 1–3 mm long; peduncle 3–30 mm long; pedicel 2–5.5 mm long. Sepals elliptic or obovate, subequal, 3–5.5 x 1.5 mm, acute, pubescent. Corolla white, 6–8 mm long. Stigmas 2-lobed. Capsule 4.5–7 mm long, glabrous except for tufts of hairs at the apex. Seeds angled, 2.3–2.5 x 1.2 mm.
