Names
Crassula numaisensis [family CRASSULACEAE]
Information
Annuals with spreading branches up to 80 mm long, glabrous. Leaves sessile to sub-petiolate, obovate, 6-15(-18) X 4-10 mm, obtuse, glabrous, almost membranous, green. Inflorescence a rounded thyrse with several dichasia; usually with 5-merous flowers, distinctly pedicellate. Calyx: lobes oblong-lanceolate, 2-2,5 mm long, bluntly acute, glabrous, green. Corolla about cup-shaped, scarcely fused basally, white; lobes c. 2 mm long, bluntly acute, spreading. Sta­mens with yellow anthers. Squamae nar­rowly oblong-cuneate, 0,3-0,4 x 0,05-0,1 mm, truncate, at first abruptly, later grad­ually constricted downwards, membranous, white. Seeds 6-8, released through apical pore of follicle.

Range
Known only from the type locality in the Numais Mountains in south-western South West Africa/Nami­bia; growing in shaded places under granite boulders. Flowering period: August, September.
