Notes
The specimens from Zimbabwe and Mozambique which we have included in forma setulosa have prostrate, rooting, sometimes pendulous stems, woody towards the base; leaves glabrous, except for the ciliate margin (the cilia being shorter and less acute than in plants of Transvaal); and petals obovate, up to 1·5 mm. broad. The sepal’s, follicle’s and anther’s size is as in the type. These specimens from the F.Z. area may perhaps represent a distinct variety, but more material is needed before a decision can be made.
