Information
Leaves usually rather broadly 2–8-lobed. Capitula 1–12; involucre cylindrical, 8–12 mm long, 2.5–7 mm in diameter; bract of calyculus 5–17; phyllaries 13–25, commonly 13; disc florets purple, mauve, magenta or pink, very rarely blue.
