Information
Slender erect ephemeral; stems 6–30 cm long, unbranched or sparsely branched, verruculose or minutely pubescent with extremely short spreading white hairs. Leaves spreading or suberect; petiole 1–2 mm long; blade 25–70 x 2–3 mm, linear, narrowing slightly towards the rounded or subacute apex, tapering at the base into the petiole, verruculose above, particularly near the revolute margins. Pedicels glabrous, 0.5–1 mm long, spreading or reflexed. Sepals 1 mm long, narrowly triangular, acute, minutely pubescent. Corolla dirty white, lobes twisted in bud; tube campanulate, c. 0.5 mm long; lobes 2 mm long, narrowing abruptly to a long acuminate tip. Corona-lobes 0.5 mm long, subulate, erect. Stigmatic head projecting c. 1.5 mm beyond the anthers. Follicles 3–7.5 x 0.3 cm, cylindrical, tapering gradually to an acute tip.
