Description
A small tree with attractive yellow flowers of Mexico and the Caribbean now introduced into the Region and under cultivation in Ghana at the Cacao Research Institute Station.In Belize the wood is used to make fish-net floats (2). The bark yields fibre used in Mexico to make rope (3, 4) and a bark concoction is taken for jaundice (1).
