Information
Sterns up to about 1 m. tall, strongly longitudinally striate, pilose to hirsute or only sparsely hairy. Leaves pinnate or pinnate-ternate, tending to become simple near the base and apex of the stem. Leaflets elliptic, cuneate at the base, coarsely toothed and often deeply lobed, sericeous-pilose especially on the nerves beneath. Flowers 4.5–8 cm. in diam., pink or white, usually solitary. Anthers 5–9 mm. long.
