Information
Liane with sparingly pubescent to glabrescent branchlets. Leaves with sparingly pubescent to glabrescent petioles 2.5–16 cm. long and inserted 0.4–1 cm. from the base of the blade; blade suborbicular, sometimes subreniform, truncate or subcordate to deeply cordate at base, rounded to subemarginate or sometimes obtuse or deeply emarginate at apex, 3.5–8 cm. long, 4–11 cm. wide, membranous to papery, blackish, glabrescent and somewhat glossy above. Male inflorescences 3.5–5 cm. long; axes sparingly pubescent; pedicels 0.5–1 mm. long. Male flowers with oblong-obovate sparingly puberulous sepals 2 mm. long and 1 mm. wide; corolla cup-shaped, 0.8–1 mm. long; synandrium 4-locular, 0.8–1 mm. long. Female inflorescences 5–20 cm. long; bracts subreniform, densely rusty-ciliolate, up to 3.5 cm. long. Female flowers with sepal 2–2.5 mm. long and 0.8–1 mm. wide, with some brown hairs; petal suborbicular to truncate at apex, sometimes subreniform, 1 mm. long and wide, sparingly hairy-pubescent; carpel 1–1.2 mm. long, longly hairy. Drupes 3–5 mm. long, 2–4 mm. wide, hairy-pubescent.
