Names

Information
Twining liane; branchlets with long yellow pubescence. Leaves with petioles 2.5–3.5 cm. long densely pubescent with yellow-tawny hairs and inserted 1–1.5 cm. from the base of the blade; blade broadly ovate, truncate to subcordate at base, longly acute to mucronate at apex with margins entire or slightly sinuate, 10–14 cm. long, 7.5–11 cm. wide, sparsely pubescent to glabrescent above, pubescent beneath especially on the nerves, densely ciliolate; basal nerves 7–11, palmate. Male inflorescences and flowers unknown. Female inflorescences 10–13 cm. long; bracts subsessile, broadly ovate, sometimes subpeltate, acuminate and acute at apex, 1.5–2 cm. long, 1–1.8 cm. wide, pubescent and densely ciliolate; pedicels 1–1.5 cm. long. Female flowers with 1 or rarely 2 sepals 0.8–1 mm. long; petal transversely elliptic, slightly pubescent; carpel about 1 mm. long; ovary pubescent. Drupes 4.5–7 mm. long, 4–5 mm. wide, pubescent. Seeds 6–8 mm. long.
