Information
Root-fibres long, wiry, spreading, branched. Leaves about 6 to a tuft; petiole 3 in. long; blade moderately firm, lanceolate, glabrous, 4–5 in. long, 1/2– 5/8 in. broad at the middle, narrowed gradually to the base and apex. Peduncle slender, glabrous, angled, deeply sulcate, shorter than the leaves. Raceme simple, lax; bracts lanceolate, lower 1/4 in. long; pedicels very short, lower fascicled. Perianth 1/4 in. long; segments linear-oblong. Anthers small, oblong, as long as the filaments.
