Information
Creeping epiphytic herb; rhizome slender, c. 1 mm in diameter.Pseudobulbs 4–8 × 3–7 mm, orbicular to ovoid, 0.5–2.5 cm apart, 6–12-leaved at the apex.Leaves fleshy, 2–12 × 0.5–1 mm, linear, acute, resembling pine needles.Inflorescence 1(2)-flowered; peduncle c. 2 mm long.Flowers brick-red or pinkish-orange, the petals straw-coloured, somewhat campanulate.Pedicel and ovary 3 mm long, with some short, black hairs.Dorsal sepal c. 4 × 3 mm, ovate; lateral sepals c. 4 × 3–4 mm, obliquely ovate, acute, recurved at the apex, forming a rounded mentum 3.5 mm high.Petals c. 1.8 × 1.2 mm, obliquely elliptical.Lip mobile, somewhat recurved, 2–2.5 × 2–2.5 mm, broadly ovate, rounded at the apex, slightly cordate at the base, ± channelled.Column c. 2mm long, including c. 1 mm long stelida; column-foot c. 1.5 mm long.Pollinia 2, triangular.
