Information
Shrub or shrublet, up to 2 m tall; branches puberulous with spreading hairs. Leaves 10–25 cm long, eglandular; leaflets in (3–)4–10 pairs, obovate-elliptic to obovate-oblong, 0.8–3.5 x 0.6–2 cm, truncate or retuse at apex, pubescent. Racemes, including peduncles, up to 15–50 cm long. Petals yellow, obovate, 1.7–2.1 cm long. Stamens: 2 anthers large, 5 medium-sized, 3 small. Pods oblong, flattened, straight, 2–7 x 1.5–2.2 cm, transversely venose, with a crest along middle of each valve, pubescent. Seeds transversely arranged, compressed, oblong-ovate, 5–6 x 3.5–4 mm, reticulate, with a small areole on each face.
