Information
Shrub, erect, up to at least 2 m tall; young branches sparsely pubescent with minute appressed hairs, soon glabrous. Leaves 7.5–13.5 cm long, eglandular; stipules subulate, 3–5 mm long; leaflets 5–8 pairs, ovate-elliptic, 1.7–3 x (0.7–)1–2 cm, obtuse to subacute at the apex, appressed puberulous. Racemes 10–30 cm long; bracts broadly ovate, obtuse, c. 10 mm long. Petals yellow, c. 16–18 cm long. Stamens 10: 2 anthers large, 5 medium-sized, 3 small. Pods shortly oblong, slightly curved, flattened, 3–4.4 x 1.2–1.6(–2) cm, dehiscent. Seeds transversely arranged, compressed, apiculate, rugose, ripe ones not seen.
