Information
Plants about 30 cm high, densely branched; stems to 22 mm thick, not rooting adventitiously, acutely 4-angled and with small acute marginal teeth, the flower-bearing part of the stem wiry, thin, 4-angled. Flowers 24 or more together in fairly densely spaced clusters; pedicels 7–15 mm long pedicels. Corolla rotate, divided practically to the base, 15 mm across, green outside, yellow with greenish bands towards centre inside; lobes lanceolate, with 2–5 purple versatile hairs at tips. Corona yellow, cup-shaped, with erect shortly 2-fid outer lobes and narrowly triangular inner lobes incumbent on anthers.

N1–3; C1 not known elsewhere.
Altitude range
from near sea level up to 1350 m.
