Information
Indumentum reddish-brown. Leaf-bases rounded or subcordate. Pedicels (5–)12–30 mm. long. Stamens 14–21. Gynophore 5–8 mm. long, glabrous or pubescent.

Notes
VARIATION. There is considerable variation in the amount of pubescence on the vegetative parts, the types being densely pubescent throughout, whilst Drummond & Hemsley 3736 is, except for the pedicels and calyces, almost totally glabrous.
