Information
Young twigs covered with sessile scales. Flowering pedicels 5–10 mm. long. Outer sepals usually less than 1 cm. long, slightly longer than the inner, silvery, covered with sessile scales; stalked scales few or 0. Anthers 2.75–3.5 mm. long.
Range
DISTR. U1–4; K1–4, 6, 7; T2 Sudan and Congo Republics west to Angola and Senegal, also Ethiopia, Eritrea and Somali Republic to Egypt, Arabia and India
Altitude range
0–1700 m.
