Information
Stoloniferous or sometimes caespitose annual; culms 10–70 cm. high, erect or geniculate. Leaf-blades 1–17 cm. long, 2–5 mm. wide. Inflorescence with (1–)2–4(–5) digitate spikes 1–12 cm. long. Spikelets ovate, 3–4 mm. long; upper glume 3–4 mm. long, 1-nerved, with a short awn-point 0.5–1 mm. long; lemma 2.5–4 mm. long, with an awn 1–2.5 mm. long; anthers 0.6–1.2 mm. long; upper floret 1.5–2.5 mm. long.
