Epiphytic herb.Pseudobulbs 0.5–9 cm apart on the rhizome, 1-leafed, 1.2–4 × 0.5–1.5 cm, ellipsoid.Leaf coriaceous, 1.8–17 × 0.6–1.5 cm, oblong to linear, rounded or acute at the apex.Inflorescence 5.5–20 cm long, 5–40-flowered.Peduncle 3–14 cm long; rhachis erect, arching or bent down, slightly swollen and flattened, 1.5–8.5 cm long, glabrous or slightly papillose.Flowers distichous, many open at the same time.Dorsal sepal 2.9–5.8 × 1.3–2.5 mm, ovate, acute or acuminate; lateral sepals free, recurved, 2.8–6 × 1.5–2.8 mm, obliquely ovate.Petals 1.5–3 × 0.25–0.9 mm, linear-lanceolate, oblique.Lip sometimes recurved, thick-textured, 1.4–2.6 × 0.8–1.7 mm, elliptic, obtuse, glabrous or papillose, with 2 ridges on the upper sur­face, margins entire.Column 0.8–1.5 mm long, including rudimentary stelidia.
