Information
Small epiphytic herb with a creeping rhizome less than 1 mm in diameter.Pseudobulbs borne up to 11 cm apart on the rhizome, 2-leaved, 1–2.5 cm × 8–10 mm, ± globose to ovoid, reddish-yellow, smooth when young but rugose when old.Leaves 2–6 × 0.2–1 cm, elliptic, sometimes slightly 2-lobed at the apex.Inflorescence 3–9 cm long, erect at first then bending over, up to c. 16-flowered; peduncle very slender with c. 4 sheaths; rhachis slightly zigzag.Flowers distichous, with a slightly unpleasant smell.Sepals greenish-white with purple margins and mid-line; petals white; lip yellow.Dorsal sepal 4–6 × 2–4 mm, ovate; lateral sepals 4–5 × 2–2.5 mm, obliquely ovate, somewhat spreading.Petals 2–2.5 × 1 mm, obovate, obtuse.Lip fleshy, 2–3.5 × 1–1.5 mm, recurved about half-way, glabrous.Column 1–2 mm long, including stelidia almost 1 mm long.

Evergreen montane forest and swamp forest, growing with ferns and mosses on trunks and branches of Syzygium cordatum and other trees
