Information
closely silky; leaflets cuneate, recurvo-mucronulate; spikes oblong, loose or rarely sub-capitate; bracts cuneate or oblong, shorter than the calyx; petals villous, the vexillum longer than the others; legume villous. Smaller, more slender, and less virgate than B. Meyeri, with shorter and more closely pressed pubescence, more lax inflorescence, and hook-pointed leaflets. In E. & Z.'s B. alpina, from the Winterberg, the leaflets are rather broader than usual, with shorter and less recurved points.
