BRUNIA macrocephala Willd. [family BRUNIACEAE], ! l. c. p. 132, t. 6, f. 1;—Spreng. syst. 1, p. 782.
Information
leaves linear-lanceolate, crowded, bicarinate above, convex beneath, hairy, villous-ciliate; heads of flowers globose, very large. Two feet or more high, with the aspect of a Phylica, more robust than the preceding. Branches erect, verticillate, as well as the branchlets, pubescent. Leaves 4–5 lines long, 1/2 line wide, with involute margins and ustulate at the apex. Flowers unknown.
