Information
Stoloniferous or tufted perennial; culms 15–75 cm. high. Leaf-blades 2–19 cm. long, 3–5(–7) mm. wide; sheaths keeled, loosely flabellate. Inflorescence of 2–3 digitate spikes 5–18 cm. long. Spikelets narrowly oblong, 3.5–5 mm. long; upper glume 3.5–4.5 mm. long, 3–5-nerved, acute, awnless; lemma 3.3–4 mm. long, with a mucro up to 1 mm. long; anthers 1.2–1.5 mm. long; upper floret 2.5–3 mm. long.
