Information
Perennial herb 25–125 cm tall; stem erect, leafy. Leaves 10–20, the largest 7–19 x 3–5.5 cm. Inflorescence rather loosely 3–30-flowered; bracts 2–5.5 cm long, shorter than the ovary with pedicel. Flowers spreading, green to yellowish green and white, strongly fragrant; pedicel with ovary 4–7 cm long. Dorsal sepal erect, hooded, 20–30 x 10–20 mm; laterals deflexed, 20–30 x 10–15 mm. Lateral petals 2-lobed nearly to the base; upper lobe 17–27 mm long; lower lobe 30–70 mm long. Lip 3-lobed from a long narrow undivided base 15–30 mm long; midlobe 20–35 mm long; side lobes 25–85 mm long; spur slender, hanging, 10–21 cm long. Anther erect, 10–18 mm high; stigmatic processes 22–32 mm long; rostellum prominent in front of the anther, midlobe hooded.
