Tree up to 20 m tall; bark reticulately fissured; branchlets glabrous to pubescent, with spreading hairs. Leaves with petiole 3–9 mm long; blade elliptic to ovate or oblong, 2–7.5 x 1–4.5 cm, acute to rounded at the apex, cuneate to truncate at the base, glabrous or minutely pubescent near midrib above, glabrous to densely pubescent and slightly paler beneath; stipules 2–4 mm long, with basal parts united and persistent. Flowers yellowish-green on pedicels 2–8(–10) mm long. Sepals 2–3 mm long. Petals c. 2 mm long. Stamens with filaments c. 2 mm long. Style c. 1 mm long. Drupe 12–20 x 7–11 mm, yellow.
