Barleria villosa S. Moore [family ACANTHACEAE], in Journ. Bot. 1880, 267.
Information
Rambling, 4 ft. high. Leaves 3 1/2 by 1 1/2 in., narrowed at both ends, villous with simple hairs on both surfaces; petiole up to 1 in. long. Inflorescence nearly as of B. opaca. Posticous sepal 2/3 by 1/6 in., entire; anticous calyx-segment bifid to 1/3 of its length. Corolla blue-purple, tube yellowish; otherwise as B. opaca .

Notes
This species is near B. opaca, but has the two outer calyx-segments much narrower.
