Information
branches whitish, tomentose; leaves opposite, short, ovate, mucronulate, silvery and silky on the lower side; petioles bi-glandular above the middle; umbels 3–5-flowered, terminating the branches and ramuli; ovary and fruit tristylous. Branches voluble. Leaves 1–1 1/2 inches long, 1/2–1 inch wide, obtuse or sub-retuse, mucronate, the younger appressedly pubescent above, older glabrate, all silky tomentose on the under side. Petiole tomentose, 3–6 lines long. Umbels mostly ternate; peduncles silky, 1–1 1/2 lines long, bibracteolate at the apex and articulated to the 2–3 line long pedicels. Calyx and petals as in the preceding. Styles long, unequal. Ovaries 3, hairy. Samaræ 3, silky pubescent, the wings appressedly downy, 5 lines long, 2 1/2 lines wide, twice as long as the styles.
