Information
Tree; branchlets and leaves glabrous. Leaves: petiole with rhachis 7–19 cm. long; petiolules 5–9 mm. long; leaflets 6–8, opposite or subopposite, coriaceous, elliptic, lanceolate, or sometimes ovate-elliptic, 7–19 cm. long, 3.2–6.8 cm. wide, gradually subacuminate at apex. Racemes (only young ones known): peduncle with axis up to 14 cm. long, like the bracts and bracteoles very densely dark-brown- or red-brown-villous outside; bracts 10–16 mm. long, 12–15 mm. wide; bracteoles 9–13 mm. long, 5–8 mm. wide. Buds very densely red-brown-villous outside. Open flowers and pods not yet known.
