Information
Annual or perennial, erect climbing or prostrate herb to 80 cm long, with tendrils, glabrous. Leaves entire to deeply (2–)3-lobed, 1–12 x 0.5–4 cm, lobes elliptic to oblong, with serrate-dentate margin; petiole c. 5–50 mm long, narrowly to broadly winged and with small gland-teeth. False stipules absent. Inflorescences 1–2-flowered. Flowers glabrous; sepals 5–11 mm long; petals 2–7 mm long. Outer corona with tube 1.5–2 mm long and threads 1.5–2.5 mm long. Styles 1.5–4 mm long, free or basally united. Fruit, excluding gynophore, 1–1.8 cm long. Seeds 1–5, c. 6 mm long.
