Information
Annual herbs 25–50 cm high; young branches almost glabrous. Leaves narrowly triangular, 2–6 cm long, 0.7–1.5 cm wide, base shallowly cordate, margins dentate near base, apex acuminate, glandular, 5-veined from base; petiole 10–20 mm long. Glomerules solitary on short lateral branches, 5–9 mm in diameter, with 35–45 capitula; phyllaries absent; paleae 2 mm long. Florets pale mauve, female florets absent; disc florets 9–15, 1.5 mm long, glandular. Achenes ellipsoid, 1 mm long, slightly hairy, without glands; pappus absent.
