Information
shrubby, scaberulous; leaves mostly alternate, linear-lanceolate, acute, thin (sub-pellucid veiny), setoso-serrulate, with subreflexed margins, on both sides glabrous or nearly so; pedunc. setose upwards; invol.-scales sub-biseriate, pubescent and glandular, 3-ribbed; achenes hispidulous. Of this I have only seen an imperfect specimen: it comes near A. serratus. Leaves 10–15 lines long, 1–2 lines wide, tapering at base, when held to the light subpellucid between the closely-netted veins, but not “pellucid-dotted” in the usual sense of that term.
