Information
Rhizome 2 mm. in diam., creeping, with fronds spaced 1.5 cm. apart, with dark brown clathrate lanceolate entire rhizome-scales up to 2 mm. long. Frond erect, herbaceous. Stipe atrocastaneous, glabrous, shining, up to 13 cm. long. Lamina 23.5 x 8 cm. simply pinnate, narrowly oblong in outline with lowest pinnae not reduced, apex attenuate. Pinnae up to 4 x 1 cm., 12–20 pairs, rhombic, dimidiate for about 1/2 of their length, acute-serrate on the acroscopic margin, often doubly serrate towards the apex, glabrous on both surfaces, petiolate. Rhachis atrocastaneous, shiny, glabrous. Sori c. 3 mm. long, oblong to very narrowly oblong, set at an angle of about 30º to the costa in the upper 1/2 of the pinna; indusium narrowly oblong, membranous, entire.
