Information
A much-branched shrub, with erecto-patent pinnate main branches and slender erecto-patent branchlets 1/2–1 ft. long. Leaves with a small deflexed pungent spur. Cladodia usually absent, rarely solitary, subulate, 1/6– 1/4 in. long, appressed to the branchlets. Flowers not seen, probably axillary.
Distribution
Angola Lower Guinea Pungo Andongo; in sandy ground on the banks of the River Cuanza, Welwitsch, 3846! 3847!
