Notes
Xaangeyo (Som.).Some plants from N3 and C1 are distinctive in their very thick and finely striate stems. The C. viminale complex falls into numerous closely related species and subspecies, only two of which have so far been confirmed from Somalia. Some specimens from C1, C2 and S1, such as Beckett 1750, Gillett & Beckett 23306, Gillett & al. 22458, and Thulin & al. 7529, with 4–6 mm thick stems, many-flowered inflorescences and almost white flowers may constitute a new subspecies or belong to one of the subspecies already described from elsewhere.
