Information
Tufted perennial. Culms 40–90 cm. high. Leaf laminae 1–2 mm. wide, folded, the base narrower than the sheath, rigid, ribbed above, without thickened margins. Panicle 7–13 cm. long. Involucre 6–8 mm. long, villous, without cartilaginous margins, acute. Inferior lemma hirsute above.
